This website is run by Firas Sweets L.L.C. (the “controller” of your personal data), based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We handle personal data under the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. Trade licence no. 125408, issued by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.

When you use the booking or contact form we receive what you type:

• your name, mobile number, and email and company if you add them;
• the details of your occasion: date, time, place, number of guests, the service and items you want, the words you want written on the kunafa, and your notes.

Our hosting provider also keeps basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the website secure. We do not ask for ID, payment card or health information.

We use your details only to reply to you, check availability, send a quote, confirm and prepare your booking or order, and keep our records. Before you send a form you are asked to tick a box giving your consent to this. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see section 7). We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing messages unless you ask us to.

Your request reaches us through these providers, who handle it only to deliver the service:

• WhatsApp (Meta), when you send the message to our number;
• Web3Forms, the form service that emails your request to our business mailbox;
• Zoho Mail, which hosts our business email;
• Cloudflare, which hosts and delivers this website.

We may also share details with delivery or event staff where needed to carry out your booking.

Some of these providers process data on servers outside the United Arab Emirates. We choose established providers and send only what is needed to handle your request. By giving your consent you agree to this transfer.

We keep your request for as long as we need it to serve you and for our business and legal records. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.

You may ask us at any time to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete your data, or restrict or stop us using it;
• send your data to you in a usable format, where this applies;
• withdraw your consent. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before you withdrew.

Send your request by WhatsApp or to [email protected]. We will reply within a reasonable time and normally free of charge.

We take reasonable steps to protect your data and limit who can see it. If a data breach is likely to seriously affect you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

This website does not use advertising cookies at the moment. If we add analytics or advertising tools later, we will update this page and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Please contact us first so we can put things right. You may also complain to the UAE Data Office, the authority that supervises personal data protection in the UAE.
